BaselineFT’s Artists Database encompasses credits for over 1.5 million above-the-line and below-the-line film and television professionals.  These credits date back to the 1950s and beyond, and are regarded throughout the entertainment industry as the most thorough and accurate Film and TV credit archive in existence. 

Celebrity Biographies
In-depth biographical data and coverage for more than 14,000 actors, directors, producers and other entertainment professionals.  Searchable by name or by other fields, each record includes: date and place of birth, education, former occupations, career milestones, awards and nominations, a written bio and family/companion information.

Film Credits
Search by name for above and below-the-line credits for people involved in released films from 1953 to the present. In addition to the credits, each record contains the year of production, character name and/or staff title.

Working Credits
In addition to historical credits, the BaselineFT editorial staff also covers films and television projects in all stages of development prior to release or telecast.  These stages include: in development, preproduction, production, wrapped, awaiting release, inactive, on hold or in turnaround.  During these stages, our staff tracks the progress of the production, various above and below-the-line professionals as they enter or leave the project (such as new writers hired for various revisions), actor roles, network and studio executives shepherding such projects and other critical data related to the people involved in the development of a project.

Artist Representation and Contact Information
BaselineFT’s Artists Databases contain representation information for over 20,000 artists, including agency, management, legal and PR.  Search by name for industry talent and personnel representation. Each record includes the person's occupation and contains at least one contact name and phone number, i.e. talent agency, manager, public relations firm or commercial agency.

Company Rosters
With more than 4,000 Company rosters and contact information, BaselineFT users can track down phone numbers, addresses and titles for executives and employees at studios, agencies, production companies, television networks and stations, management companies, PR firms, law firms and most other entities involved in the film and television industry.  Search by name or by other fields for media and entertainment companies and their top personnel, including: studios, networks, cable companies, film commissions, record companies, guilds and unions. Each record includes company name, company type, location, phone, fax, personnel roster and company description.

BaselineFT has three databases of Academy Award® Nominations and Winners from 1927 to 1999, organized by individuals' names, film titles, and categories:

• Oscar® by Artist allows you to search by the names of individuals for nominations and awards received in the course of their careers. You can also search by year for individuals who received nominations and awards in that year.
